Kathryn Crabb Scherer
Kathryn Crabb Scherer has been a member of St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church since moving to Connecticut in 2011. She serves as the Director of Choirs at Berlin High School, where she conducts the Madrigals Choir, Jazz Choir, Bella Voce, Concert Choir, and Chorale. Additionally, she is the director of the BHS musical; past productions include The Music Man and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Northwestern University, where she specialized in Music Education and Voice Performance with a focus in operatic singing. She is a proud alumna of St. Richard’s Episcopal School in Indianapolis, Indiana. In her free time, she volunteers at the Connecticut Hospice and sings with the Schola Antiqua and Adult Choir at St. Thomas’s. She and her husband Alex, a former Day School Board member, live in New Haven.
