Reopening and Pandemic Response

Reopening Guide
2020-2021 School Year

St Thomas’s recognizes that the ideal teaching and learning environment is one in which students and teachers are able to interact with each other face-to-face. We also recognize the vital importance of creating a campus environment that addresses the health and safety concerns of our students, faculty and staff. Our Return to Campus Plan seeks to do both, providing a road map for our community to follow in the months ahead.

Guiding Principles

We are committed to reorienting our students to the new school year in the safest and most supportive way possible.

COVID 19 Fund

To support families who are adversely affected by COVID 19, St. Thomas’s has created a COVID 19 FUND. Our goal is to continue to provide access to a St. Thomas’s education for all of our currently enrolled students. We understand that these are difficult times and are committed to doing our very best to help families who may be adversely impacted by these circumstances. If your family is experiencing financial difficulty, please contact Katie Patterson at  kpatterson@stthomasday.org for additional information.

Distance Learning at St. Thomas’s

St. Thomas’s will be closely monitoring health indicators and if conditions change, we will be ready to move to a comprehensive distance learning program with a seamless transition. Last spring, St. Thomas’s pivoted, adapted and put forth one of the best K-6 distance learning programs in the country. Regardless of the situational circumstances, St. Thomas’s is committed to providing our students the best possible educational program for the next school year.
