Xinchen grew up in Houston, Texas, and has lived in the New Haven area since 2005, when she and her husband, Jason, began their undergraduate studies at Yale. She graduated from Yale College in 2009 with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics and is a Fellow of Berkeley College. Since graduation, Xinchen has worked at the Yale Investments Office, where she focuses on the Endowment's public equity portfolios. Xinchen and Jason chose St. Thomas's School for their daughter, Clara `31, because of the school's emphasis on kindness, community, curiosity, and leadership. Xinchen is enthusiastic about the opportunity to give back to St. Thomas's and is honored to support the school at the board level.
