We are excited to announce Marcia Herrera as St. Thomas’s Day School Director of Institutional Advancement. Having spent more than 14 years with Grace Academy in Hartford, Marcia has seen firsthand how education can transform the lives of students and their families. She is passionate about creating opportunities for young people, helping them build confidence, and watching them grow into future leaders. Building meaningful relationships has always been at the heart of her work, and she looks forward to getting to know the St. Thomas’s community.
Outside of work, Marcia loves to travel and enjoys taking classes at Barre3, hiking, and learning to play golf as another way to spend time with friends and family. She and her husband, Guillermo, have three sons, Guillermo, Nico, and Tomás, a daughter-in-law, Yvette, and a granddaughter, Nina! Marcia and Guillermo lived in his native Colombia for six years, where their first son was born, and they love returning to visit friends and family.
